Conductor’s FAQ
What is the Blog about?
1
Inspiration Station is a place where I share what is inspiring about all types of stories in all different forms of media. Real or Fictional, Movies or TV, Novels or Short Stories. I hope that you find something inspiring here as well! I love it when I can discus great stories with those that love them.
How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. Go into the Blog page and search what you are interested in. If you don’t know where to start you can read the most recent publication or pick one that you find interesting. I am more than curious to hear about what you think about these stories.
What makes Inspiration Station different?
3
I only share what I think is inspiring or cool about a story. I do not want to be weighed down with negative content or rage bate. I’ll save those takes for the other side of the tracks. I think that storytelling is beautiful and that there is value to be found in every story. That is what I want to share here.
How can I contact you?
4
You can reach me anytime via our contact page or email. I look at the email at least once a week so you can expect a response in about that length of time. I run this page by myself so please be patient. However, I love to connect with creative and passionate people. I’d love to hear from you and what you love!

How Inspiration Station came to be:
The whole concept behind Inspiration Station was selfish. I had been wanting to make a blog for a while and this was the perfect excuse. I love stories, whether that be pulled from fiction or reality. They are how we share experiences and emotions. Its how we learn to connect with other people. They are so important.
When I finish a story I immediately want to tell someone about it. Whether it was good or bad. I believe this impulse stems from my family reading books together and then later watching movies or shows together. Every time we’d do an informal debrief of the story we had all just experienced. This helped me learn to identify what I really found gripping or inspiring about a story from an early age. It has also created this habit of me wanting to infodump on to the next closest human about the book, comic, movie, or show I just finished.
Now I want to make it into a blog. To off load my thoughts into a place that I can easily reference for later. Not just a blog about my thoughts on stories that come through the station but what I find inspiring about those stories.
Writing about what is inspiring in stories that come through the station isn’t just for the fun rhyme but because I want to keep it positive. I have seen many amateur reviewers spiral down into cynicism because they had to have a pros and cons list. Until it all became cons and they had nothing good left to say about anything. I don’t want that to be me.
That’s why I’m doing this project. To help me get my thoughts on amazing stories out of my head. It’s not an original idea but it is my idea and it will serve me into the future. Not only as a place to write down my thoughts but for me to reference for later.
Why a train station? Well, I have loved trains since forever and the idea that each story I post about is just making a stop at the station is a really appealing one and gave me solid footing on how to approach the design elements of this project. Plus it is just a fun idea!
