Artemis II
How Reality can be as Amazing as Fiction.
Introduction:
Six years ago NASA announced that we were returning to the moon. That the new missions would be called Artemis. I remember being super hyped and excited! Slowly though it faded into the background of my mind as so many other things were and are happening. Now though; with the Artemis II mission having orbited the moon and returned I am so super excited!

What’s Inspirational About Artemis II?
What is inspiring is that we have gotten a new human look at our home planet and moon. The photographs that the astronauts took were incredible and so amazing! It is so cool that the Apollo mission took a picture of earth from the Sunward side of earth and that the Artemis mission took a picture from the Moonward side of earth. (Thus making it look more grainy because they had to put their settings at their limit).
Going to space, traveling to the moon, and pushing humanities limits are always such incredible things and I am so grateful I get to live to see it!

The pictures that they got of the moon was super inspiring, especially seeing the Earth rise from the moon. You can definitely count me as one of the people that’ll be setting these pictures as my wallpaper!
I think that it was so cool that they live streamed it all and that NASA made it a cultural moment as much as they could.

Final Thoughts:
With future missions planned and Moon landings imminent I am so hyped and excited about the future of the Artemis missions! It is so refreshing and awesome that we are doing this and going back to the moon despite it all. I’ll keep on posting here about the amazing things that NASA keeps on doing as we go to the Moon! Sometimes reality is just as cool as fiction!
